To help make this process as simple as possible, we’ve outlined a few of the easiest and most common ways to connect FITFOREVER to your TV.

1. AIRPLAY DIRECTLY FROM THE APP

Undoubtedly, the most seamless way to display FITFOREVER on your big-screen TV is via the app’s AirPlay 2 feature. To connect via AirPlay, you will either need an AirPlay-compatible Smart TV or an external Apple TV device.

Brands like LG, Vizio, Sony, and Samsung will likely have AirPlay 2 built-in if it was made after 2017. If you don’t have one of those TVs or an Apple TV, scroll down to learn how to connect from your computer instead!

How to AirPlay to the FITFOREVER App to Your TV

  1. Be sure both devices are connected to the same WiFi network
  2. Open FITFOREVER app
  3. Choose a FITFOREVER video, press PLAY
  4. Click the AirPlay icon
  5. Select a compatible Smart TV (or Apple TV device) from the list
  6. Begin your workout!
  7. If your TV is not appearing after you click the AirPlay icon, it is likely not AirPlay compatible. But don’t worry! There are still several other ways for you to connect FITFOREVER your TV with your computer further below!

2. SCREEN MIRROR FROM YOUR iPHONE TO A SMART TV

Screen mirroring is a simple way to work around casting issues by “mirroring” exactly what is on your phone to your Smart TV. Again, you will likely need a device with AirPlay compatibility for this to work.

3. CONNECT TO YOUR TV WITH HDMI

The most tech-free way to connect your laptop to your TV is via HDMI cable. If you have an HD TV, you almost certainly have multiple HDMI ports available to connect to. A typical connection requires nothing more than a basic HDMI cable. However, some computers may require a simple adapter if it does not have an HDMI port (2019 MacBook Pro adapter, pictured right).

How to Connect to Your Computer to Your TV with HDMI

  1. Connect HDMI from your computer to your TV
  2. Select the proper input channel on your TV
  3. Choose a FITFOREVER video
  4. Enter full-screen mode
  5. Begin your workout!

*If you are only seeing video on your TV but not hearing sound, be sure to adjust the audio output settings in your computer’s System Preferences.

4. CONNECT TO A SMART TV OR STREAMING DEVICE

For a cord-free connection, many modern TVs have WiFi streaming capabilities already built in. This could be in the form of a built-in Chromecast  feature or an Apple AirPlay  feature. You can also use an actual Chromecast or Apple TV to accomplish this as well

To check if your devices are compatible, first make sure your TV and computer are connected to the same WiFi network. Then, using Chrome Browser, go to VIEW in the top menu, and click CAST to see nearby devices that are Chromecast compatible. Click the TV you want to connect to, and your screen will appear on your TV once it connects.

Apple AirPlay from a laptop

In the example above, you will see that two different smart TVs are available/compatible, but a third TV is not supported. You can also click the SOURCES button to toggle between casting an individual tab or your entire desktop screen.

If you’re on an Apple computer or laptop, you can follow the same procedure by clicking the AirPlay icon in the top-right corner of your screen (using any browser) to see which devices are compatible. Choose the TV you wish to connect to. You may be prompted to enter an AirPlay Device Code that appears on your TV.

How to Wirelessly Connect to Your Smart TV or Streaming Device

  1. Navigate to CAST within Chrome browser or AIRPLAY on a Mac
  2. Select the TV you wish to display on, enter code if applicable
  3. Choose a FITFOREVER video
  4. Enter full-screen mode
  5. Begin your workout!
