How do I get started?

It’s easy! Simply click on the "Create a FitForever Account" link on the top right-hand corner of this page and provide the required information to create your profile. You’ll be able to change this information later, if needed. If you select the FitForever Pro account, the credit card that you link to your account will be charged every month on the date that you created your account. For example, if you created your FitForever Pro account on March 15, your credit card will be billed on the 15th of each month. If you opt for the free account, you will not be required to provide credit card information.

How does FitForever Pro differ from the free account?

Click here to view a chart detailing the features of each type of account. FitForever Pro costs $10 per month, while the free account is, of course, free.

Are other members able to view the data I record on the site?

That’s completely up to you. Under the "Preferences" tab in your account settings, you can determine what information others are allowed to see, from everything to nothing, or anywhere in between.

How do I manage my workouts?

FitForever contains data on thousands of exercises, so before you begin logging your workouts, you must add which exercises you perform to your list of favorites. To do this, click on the "Add a Workout" tab, select an exercise from the list, and click the "Add Workout" button. To easily narrow the list, start typing the name of an exercise into the search box above the list. The exercises that you select from the list will be added to the dropdown list of exercises on the "Log a Workout" tab.

When logging a workout, select an exercise from the dropdown list and enter the appropriate information related to that particular workout session. The calories burned will be automatically calculated based on the information provided and the personal information (height, weight, etc.) contained in your account profile.

To edit a past workout, scroll down to the "Workout History" tab and click on the "Edit" link to the far right of each log.

How do I log my weight?

Enter your weight and the date, and your BMI will automatically be calculated. To edit past weight logs, scroll down to the "Weight History" tab and click on the “Edit” link to the right of each entry.

How do I log my food intake?

Enter the date, identify the food, and provide the calorie worth for that item. Choose a nutritional rating from the dropdown list, and if you wish, apply a tag such as "lunch" or "snack" to the item, and then click "Log Food." To edit past food logs, scroll down to the "Food History" tab and click on the “Edit” link to the far right of each entry.

How do I manage my activities?

Before logging your activities, you must first create those activities under the "Add/Edit Activity" tab. Simply name the activity, such as "Nightly Sleep," and enter a measurement unit, such as "hours," in the provided windows, and then click the "Add Activity" button. The custom activities that you created will be added to the dropdown list on the "Log Activity" tab.

To log an activity, select an activity from the dropdown list and enter the appropriate units, date, and any comments you wish to save, then click the "Log Activity" button.

To edit past activity logs, scroll down to the "Activity History" tab and click on the "Edit" link to the far right of each entry.

How do I add a goal to an activity?

Just click on the "Goals" tab on the Activity Log page, and select an activity from the list. Enter a measurement unit as your goal in the window provided, and click the "Add Goal" button. For example, if you are tracking how many pushups you can do as a custom activity, and you have a goal of doing at least 100 pushups, just select that activity from the list and enter "100" in the goal window. FitForever will track your progress and let you know how close you are to reaching your goals.

How do I request someone to be my motivator?

Under the "Motivators" page in the Community section of FitForever, you can send a message to one of your friends and request that he or she become an official motivator for you. To do this, simply select one of your friends from the dropdown list. You can choose to keep the default message or write your own. If you write your own, be sure to keep the link at the bottom of the message.
